While in Iraq, a U.S. soldier discovers an odd stone. The stone, which comes to be known as the Creator’s stone, creates a monster sand worm that ravages the enemy in the sand. The soldier leaves a hero, secret secure in his pocket. Months later, the soldier’s wife is killed in an accident. He applies the stone to his wife’s body but something goes terribly wrong. She wakes from her pale slumber but is no longer human. She hungers for the life force of the living. The soldier escapes the carnage, that he started, only to parish under the heavy thumb of guilt. The Creator’s stone was passed to its next human tool and the creations continued.
